Artwork for an eyeliner barrel should be positioned on the selected component's usable decoration area. The outer silhouette is insufficient: the cap joint, assembly contact surfaces, curvature and decoration process can each limit where a graphic can be placed and read.
Map the surfaces on the actual component
Identify the barrel and cap separately, with the intended front view and a common dimensional reference. Mark the proposed decoration area on the current drawing. Also identify any grip texture, molding feature, opening or surface that participates in assembly.
Functional features may be internal or covered when assembled. Their existence does not mean ink is applied directly over them. Ask the component and decoration teams to identify the actual areas to protect from the proposed process; do not invent a fixed exclusion distance from a general photograph.
Allow for the cap joint
If the design ends on the barrel, check its position with the cap normally closed and removed. A border or word close to the join can appear crowded or become covered. Review the actual component positions rather than moving a drawing line solely to improve a digital mockup.
A motif intended to continue from barrel to cap needs a separate review of the closed orientation and its repeatability. A cylindrical exterior does not prove that the two printed parts return to a fixed angular relationship. Independent graphics can share a visual style without requiring an uninterrupted line across the join.

Judge the graphic on the curved surface
Confirm the artwork scale and the developed layout for the actual diameter or taper. Review the physical print while turning the component through its normal viewing positions. Text extending around a cylinder may become hidden from a single view even when its printed dimensions are correct.
Check small lettering, line breaks and graphic spacing on decorated samples. Where the process requires artwork compensation, have it prepared for the selected geometry and tooling. Do not treat screen printing, foil stamping and a coating as interchangeable ways to correct a placement problem.
Approve location and finish together
Use the intended substrate and finish sequence for the proof. Assess placement, legibility, coverage and relevant adhesion separately, including after assembly where appropriate. A correct location does not establish ink compatibility, and a durable print can still occupy the wrong area.
Sambound lists logo decoration and finishing options at sambound.com. The agreed drawing, artwork revision, process and physical proof define a specific barrel layout; those service categories do not establish that every process is suitable for every eyeliner component.
